I finished this kind of a while ago and wanted to put it up for download a lot sooner, but life is crazy right now, so…here it finally is! Important Things to Note:įeel free to tag me if you use this! You don’t have to though. With DOF and MXAO toggled off, it works pretty well for gameplay as well. Kinda dry-bones, vintage-y, and made especially for the more arid regions of the game like Oasis Springs and Strangerville (but looks good and gentle in other worlds too!). Just a really basic ass preset that I’ve been sitting on forever. My presets do NOT work with 3.4 and beyond! Anyhoo, this is just kind of a dreamy, darkish, woodsy, nostalgic sort of preset. My Terms of Among The Pines - A Reshade 3.0 Preset for TS4 You can toggle DOF and MXAO off with the F12 key, / toggles fog, and F1 toggles the noise.įeel free to tag me if you use this! You don’t have to though! DOWNLOAD Screenshots must be taken with the ‘print screen’ key, and will populate in the same location you installed the preset in. You need to have edge-smoothing turned off for the DOF effect to work. Click here for a handy guide on installing Reshade if you’re new to it! To install, be sure to drop the file here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin Otherwise, you don’t need to worry about this.)
You need the original 3.0.8 shaders as well, which you can grab here!!! (Note: the shader issue only effects you if you’ve reinstalled 3.0.8 after using a newer version of Reshade. My presets do NOT work with 3.4 and beyond! This was made using Reshade 3.0.8, and I highly recommend you use Reshade 3.0 to run it! Compared to the original SH, this has better MXAO, warmer colors, better functionality in low light, and proper key toggles! Important Things to Note: It started as a touch-up to my Silent Hill preset, but I ended up changing a lot of things so I made it its own…thing.
